Recently, Chick Fil-A’s president, Dan Cathy, in speaking to a radio commentator, stated that we were inviting the judgment of God in this nation, for thinking that we are wiser than He in knowing how to define marriage. He is an outspoken Christian and Chick Fil-A operates by Biblical principles (choosing not to do business on Sunday so that their employees can go to church with their families).
Chick Fil-A is one of the purest, best run, most successful service outlets in America. They represent EVERYTHING that is GOOD about America! Now, however, the Hollywood elites and many politicians, taking exception to Cathy’s statement, being lovers of all things homosexual, are attacking Chick Fil-A and seeking to destroy them.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, stated that because of Chick Fil-A’s discrimination, he would NOT ALLOW them to open a store in “his” city! Well, first of all, LET’S BE PERFECTLY CLEAR ABOUT ONE THING: Chick Fil-A has never discriminated against anyone; customer or employee! They have a company-wide policy of non-discrimination and they practice it to a “T”. Secondly, for an elected official to attempt to BAN an American business like Chick Fil-A from their town is 1) COMPLETELY UN-AMERICAN, and 2) Hypocritical at the highest! Where are all of those who decry The American Family Association as “INTOLERANT”? How can anyone be any more INTOLERANT than Mayor Menino?
Hollywood elites have demonstrated their disgust as well. Roseanne Barr tweeted that she hoped everyone who, “ate at S***T Fil-A….” would be get cancer from the meat of those poor tortured chickens! Chicago’s mayor Rahm Emmanel, the President’s former Chief of Staff, said he would keep anyone out of Chicago that, discriminated against any demographic….”. He said this while welcoming with open arms the racist and violent preaching Louis Farrakahn into the city with his hords of bow tied Nation of Islam followers. He welcomed this criminal who has spent his entire life discriminating against whites and Jews!
Make no mistake about it! If you are going to be strong on moral issues, you will come under attack! I WISH I could post here the VILE, VULGAR, insane tweets, Face Book posts, and emails that I have received from the members of BIG GAY of late. And they call US the haters! It’s insane. I preached a month ago in a church a sermon in which I stated that if you are going to be a BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN (like Dan Cathy?) You are going to pay for it. I had no idea that the payment would come so soon and be so steep!
What about you? Are you ready to be strong and courageous? Are you willing to STAND for what God’s Word says? Or, are you comfortable to just go along to get along? The day is coming, my friend. I encourage you to be VERY strong and VERY courageous.
For remember the words of Jesus: ”If you are ashamed of me and my words in this life, I will be ashamed of you before my Heavenly Father in the life to come…..”!
