I continue to be amazed at the vitriol and verbose pronouncements that come from the Left in their hatred for us.
They gleefully report at any opportunity that the American Family Association is a “certified SPLC hate group”, while doing the most hateful of deeds towards us! They clamour to report our “intolerance” while exhibiting the depths of intolerance towards any and all things Christian.
We’ve received tweets from an “EthicsVSReligion” someone, who declared that Bryan Fischer and I and the AFA were, “morally complicit in the murders of the children at Newtown“. Really? “You can’t be serious”, I tweeted back for an explanation of HOW we were morally responsible and complicit in murdering anyone. They have gone silent, of course.
Our millions of AFA supporters might like to know that we daily observe the dishonest and slanderous attacks of the left like this. Just today, they have posted our names in context with stories that we had nothing to with. They post headlines that misquote, taken out of context and twist our words into what we didn’t really say at all!
Recently, the headlines went out all over that tried really hard to make it sound as though Bryan Fischer was blaming GOD for the attacks on the children at Sandy Hook. That would be pretty AWFUL if he or we had actually said that. But again, we did not.
In everything that Bryan said, he was pointing to the moral decline we’ve experienced since prayer and the Ten Commandments were kicked out of our public schools. The moral demise since that fateful time in the mid-60′s has been throughly documented. Bryan and I both tweeted, blogged and broadcast about the absolute need for this country to return in repentance to God! This sent the left ballistic!
Any reference to moral failure is rejected. We both spoke about the moral decline of our country that is best seen in how we’ve kicked God out of America’s public schools. There’s not a week go by that we don’t deal with a story about some Valedictorian being forced to take God references out of her speech; or about cheerleaders taken to court for having Bible verses on their signs; or about the Christmas play that was dumped and replaced with a gay honoring “Anti-Bullying” programs at Christmas time, because it would be “ILLEGAL” to have anything about “CHRISTmas” at the public school!
Those who mock us for reporting these FACTS must simply hate us for exposing the truth of the devil’s attempts to rob our culture of anything God, Bible, Jesus or Christmas! They know we’re spot on with our assessment, and it angers them.
So, they offer the grown-up response: they call us names. They tag us for the murders. They act irrationally.
I wrote about the appalling tweets and reports of desire to kill the President of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and “all” NRA members. Bryan Tashman picks that up and treats it like I’m offering some sort of right winged conspiracy. Mr. Tashman’s Right Wing Watch is the most oft quoted source for the attacks against the Right, by those on the left. If it’s a pro-homosexual/sodomy, anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-Life source of blogs, newspapers, or tweeters, then you will see them quoting RWW as their most trusted and oft referred to source. It’s amazing to me that they would actually pay someone to sit there and daily record our shows. But hey, they help get my words out to their readers!
Let me offer some evidence of the threats thai i wrote about in my short blog this week that seemed to once again intrigue them:

I could give more, but the point is made well enough! If the Left wants to mock the reporting of these stories, fine.
But to deny they exist or that no one actually called for the murder of the NRA president and NRA members, is just plain dishonest!
This kind of hatefulness is never pleasant. But it most often comes because someone has read and believed the accusations made about us, rather than the factual sources regarding what we’ve said..
Dear AFA friends and supporters: be careful of your sources. If you want to know the TRUTH (meaning, what we really said, what we really mean, and what our policies really are) then pick up the phone and call us; write us; or, simply read OUR material. Don’t trust the untrustworthy. They are INTOLERANT of anything Christian. They are “christophobic” and “conservaphobic”. They will not expose you to the truth, but they will sway you to the lie.

I understand your confusion.
I have NEVER accused anyONE as being morally complicit with MURDER, like I was by someone who sees us S you do! How fair and rational is it to blame ME for these murders? You sir, cannot prove or rationalize such nonsense!
I Maas proLife as a human can be! I am broken by these senseless murders! My wife teaches a first grade class with 20 students. I held her and we cried over this horrible murder. And you blame ME for the murders?
Why? Because we disagree on gun control? Are you kidding? My position is the Constitutionally legal position. My position is the historic American position. My position is legal, historic and morally responsible (for I hold the murderer responsible for his own actions), and yet you still blame me for those precious babies death? Absolutely irrationally unbelievable!
What I said is that the entire country has drifted away from the Godly morals that once held us back from these kinds of mass murders in the past!
2 Chron. 7:14 says, “If my pep,e, which are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, forgive their sins and HEAL THEIR LAND!”
Does that offend you? I hope not. For if a person has a reversion to Almighty God saying, “Thou shall not murder” (the Ten Commandments – which used to be allowed in our schools for our young people to see every day) then, we have moral foundation from which to even have a conversation.
But I agree with you on this: we are too divided as a nation. Why we cannot come together and have rational and reasonable conversations about these serious issues is beyond me?
Please understand this: disagreement is NOT hatred! Your defense of the SPLC is deplorable. Their designation of us as a hate group is solely because they disagree wit us in our understanding of the Bibles teachings on homosexuality. Period. We hate no one. We deplore bullying ad violence. We do not want any kind of harm to w ER come to homosexuals. We simply understand the Bible to address homosexually as a sin, as most Bible believers have done or centuries! We’ve not come up with some new understanding of homosexuality that is hateful. We understand homosexuality as the Bible has taught it and the church as taught it for centuries! It’s a sin. Gid says its n abomination. Certainly the Gay activist movement disagrees with that understanding, but because we disagree doesn’t make us. “Hate group” on the level of the KKK, who killed people, which is who the SPLC has dealt with in the past! We love all men. We just disagree about the lifestyle. That’s not hate. We’ve never killed anyone and o not support anyone tht does. We do not support anyone who hates homosexuals. We love them and want o help them. I understand you and others want to disagree with they view. That’s your right. That disagreement doesn’t make you a “hater”! To suggest otherwise is irrational!
